Energy

4.01A - I can represent transfers of energy using pie charts and bar charts (LOL) and use these to interpret physical situations.
4.02A - I can solve problems using energy equations and the concept of conservation of energy.
4.03A - I can use energy equations to solve advanced problems which may include relating the concept of conservation of energy to forces and/or motion.
4.04B - I can differentiate between power and energy.  With enough information, I can quantify the power and relate it to energy needs. I understand the concepts of efficiency and how it relates to power and energy.
4.05B - I can identify when work has been done on a system.  I can quantify how much work has been done given information about the forces acting on the system and/or the energy of the system
4.06C - I can connect representations of motion and forces with representations of energy storage or transfers. Given appropriate information, I can model that behavior with energy, force and/or motion models.

"There is no science in this world like physics. Nothing comes close to the precision with which physics enables you to understand the world around you. It's the laws of physics that allow us to say exactly what time the sun is going to rise. What time the eclipse is going to begin. What time the eclipse is going to end."
