Two Dimensional Motion

*.00C - Derive an expression for unknown quantity given information from a physics scenario
*.01C
- Design an experiment and analyze the results to find relationships between any two quantities given appropriate information.
3.01A - I can determine the direction of the net force acting on an object in two dimensional motion, given appropriate information.
3.02A - I can relate range, maximum height and time in the air for an object undergoing projectile motion.

3.03B - I can relate centripetal acceleration to net force and use that information to determine the tangential speed of an object undergoing uniform circular motion.

3.04C - I understand the universal law of gravitation and the acceleration due to gravity, and can use that understanding to determine how the gravitational field strength changes with respect to mass and radius

"There is no science in this world like physics. Nothing comes close to the precision with which physics enables you to understand the world around you. It's the laws of physics that allow us to say exactly what time the sun is going to rise. What time the eclipse is going to begin. What time the eclipse is going to end."
